Virtual Support Group for Parents in Active Treatment

1st Friday @ 12:30 pm PT/1:30 pm MT/2:30 pm CT/3:30 pm ET

3rd Monday @ 10:30 am PT/11:30 am MT/12:30 pm CT/1:30 pm ET

Parenting young kids is hard. Add a cancer diagnosis to the mix? That brings unique challenges and a lot of questions. While most of your friends and family cannot relate to what you're going through, there is a group of parents who get it.

Join us to talk about the fears, challenges, and successful coping strategies to parenting young children through cancer treatment and survivorship.

Come to one or both meetings. These are drop-in groups–you do not need to RSVP each time you plan to attend. Once you register and receive a welcome email you will be on the group list to receive reminders and zoom links until you ask to be removed.

Group meetings are 90 min on Zoom.

This group is for parents who are currently receiving treatment for their cancer or are within 6 months of completing the majority of their treatment. If you are more than 6 months out from treatment, please join our Virtual Meet-up for Parents Post-Treatment. Parents with any stage cancer are welcome to join this group. If you are a parent with an advanced or metastatic cancer diagnosis, you may want to join our Virtual Support Group for Parents with Stage IV Cancer

Group is facilitated by Laura Mathews, LCSW.
