Estate planning can seem like an overwhelming topic for parents even in the simplest of times, much less in the face of a cancer diagnosis. Estate planning attorney Rachel Dodson will cover what to know about preparing an estate plan, from the basics of what an estate plan is, what documents you can prepare yourself, what documents you should not prepare yourself, and what happens if you do not have an estate plan in place. Rachel will discuss health care directives and naming a guardian for your children in addition to the basics of wills and trusts. There will also be plenty of time for questions!
Cancer patients, caregivers, and other interested adults are welcome to attend.
