Talking to Kids about Death: A Q&A with Dougy Center

A parent's cancer diagnosis can bring up A LOT of questions for the whole family, including questions about how to talk to kids about death. These can be hard questions at any point in someone's cancer journey but even more so for those of us with an advanced diagnosis.

Join Dougy Center's Rebecca Hobbs-Lawrence, M.A. (Pathways Program & Grief Services Coordinator) in a facilitated Q & A about talking to kids about death and how to support grieving kids. This conversation will be generated by the Bright Spot Network community's questions and wonderings. This session is designed to support parents with cancer, non-cancer parents, and the community that holds and supports the kids of parents with cancer.

Rebecca Hobbs-Lawrence, M.A. is the Pathways Program & Grief Services Coordinator. In her role, Rebecca provides support to families when a family member is living with an advanced serious illness.
