This workshop is designed for older adults who find themselves in the challenging position of caring for an adult child diagnosed with cancer. As these caregivers navigate their dual roles—supporting their child through a cancer journey and potentially taking on a more active role in their grandchildren's lives—this program offers insights, coping strategies, and practical advice to manage the emotional and physical demands of caregiving. Participants will learn how to balance caregiving responsibilities with their own health and well-being, understand the dynamics of their changing family roles, and find ways to support their grandchildren while maintaining their own strength and resilience.
We are excited to partner with CancerCare for this presentation.
