Healing Circle for Parents with Cancer

4th Tuesday @ 9 am PT/10 am MT/11 am CT/12 pm ET

Bright Spot Network is partnering with SmithCenter DC and other non-profit partners to bring you Healing Circles for Parents with Cancer. This virtual support group is a peer-led group for those newly diagnosed, in active treatment, or in survivorship who are experiencing challenges with their role as parent. This group is appropriate for any parent with cancer who has minor children at home.

Group meetings are 60 min on Zoom.

This group is not about giving advice (although facilitators will share resources after group and will encourage sharing outside of group). Instead, this group is about sharing our stories (the heart ache that comes from parenting with cancer) without judgment and listening with love. There will also be periodic-in-person playdates for families in the DMV area.
